The data excludes the operations of extra budgetary units, social insurance funds (SIFs) and non-financial public corporations.

 

Fiscal year (FY): 1st of July to 30th of June 

 

(1) The base year for the plan is FY 2021/2022 which starts from FY 2022/2023 to FY 2026/2027.

(2) The CPI base period is Jan 2010 . Weights are extracted from Income and Expenditure Survey FY 2004/2005.

(3) The PPI base year was FY 2004/2005 and it changed to be a base month (Jan 2016=100) .

 

(4) Excluding  the debts of Economic Authorities and  the National Investment Bank.

 

(5) Represents government external debt balance, the outstanding of 30/9/2008, after the Central Bank reclassification of external debts data, by increasing government debt, transferred from other sectors without affecting total external debt.

(6) Extracted from the consolidated balance sheet of the banking sector which includes other financial institutions.

(7) Due to the settlement of rescheduled loans between CBE and government

(8)  Reported as "Non financial Enterprises " in IFS.

 

(9) The former bank's classification by type of activity was cancelled by virtue of the banking law No . 88 of 2003

 

( 10)  General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) is responsible for exports data  since Jan 2008 .  Ministry of Industry and Commerce is responsible for imports data .
