The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development held a ceremony to deliver the certificates of the trainees of the training program on project management, in the presence of Eng. Khaled Mustafa, permanent representative of the ministry.
Eng. Khaled Mustafa explained that project management represents one of the tools and methodologies that strategic management has been doing for a long time, as it helps achieve the goals and benefits included in the strategic plan.
Mustafa indicated that the Ministry of Planning has technical and financial references about state investments and program management.
Mustafa explained that the goal of the project management training included several goals, foremost of which is for the ministry to be a source of knowledge and reference for the attribution agencies that are dealt with on how to use a scientific methodology in managing the state investments that are made available.
Mustafa said that the Ministry of Planning is working to give the reference bodies the methodology that is being used to properly manage the state's investments.
Mustafa explained that there is a great effort of work being done on the investment system, and the system of managing the investment budgets of the attribution bodies, adding that this effort must also be codified so that these bodies use a scientific methodology to manage those investments, where the issue is not purely financial.
About the move to the administrative capital, Mustafa explained that it is not just a spatial transfer, but it is also a transfer in the way of work, explaining that part of it depends on reducing dependence on paperwork, as electronic tools will be provided with reliance on several applications.
Mustafa added that these tools will include project management, as all employees will have a so-called basic project management platform, through which ministries are expected to deal together.
