WYF is a bridge of communication with young people: Minister of Planning

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that holding the World Youth Forum (WYF) this year amid these exceptional circumstances the world is going through comes as an affirmation of the importance of continuing life. El-Said pointed out that this exclusive Egyptian experience, in which all officials meet with Egyptian and international youth, is a platform for dialogue and a bridge of communication with young people, as they represent the present and the future for all development plans within the state.This came on the sidelines of her participation in the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh. The forum will be held this year under the slogan "Together again", and in light of unprecedented preventive and precautionary measures.The Minister of Planning and Economic Development indicated that the Egyptian practical experience in dealing with the Corona pandemic had a priority in preserving the health of the citizen, with the continuation of the wheel of economic activity and development in all national projects, which helped achieve the required balance during the face of the pandemic.
El-Said stressed that preserving the economy, development process, employment, and economic entities in the country is considered national security for the Egyptian state.On the main themes of this year's edition of the World Youth Forum - creativity, peace, and development - El-Said explained that the world after the pandemic has changed priorities.
