Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence launches the internal excellence awards system at Tanta, Suez, Mansoura, and South Valley Universities

Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence announced the launch of the internal excellence awards system at Tanta University, Suez, Mansoura, and South Valley, to complete the implementation of the internal excellence system following the directives of the Prime Minister announced at the closing ceremony of the second session of the award.
In this context, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development said that the implementation of the internal awards system in government agencies in the state’s administrative apparatus stems from the keenness of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence to implement the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
For his part, Eng. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence, stressed the importance of deepening and spreading the culture of institutional excellence in all government agencies through the application of the internal awards system, which in turn will be eligible for nomination and competition for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence in courses coming.Mustafa added that the launch of the internal awards system in the universities that come will work to deepen the culture of excellence within universities and faculties, as well as to shed light on successful models, which in turn are reflected in a better quality of life for citizens in all services and transactions provided.The management of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence held a two-day introductory training workshop for the internal awards work teams formed by those universities to manage the internal excellence system, to familiarize themselves with the mechanisms of managing the internal awards and the tasks of the work team from the universities.During the workshop, it was emphasized that the Egypt Government Excellence Award will support universities and follow their internal excellence journey in all technical stages, in the context of emphasizing the deepening of this culture, as well as contributing to achieving transparency, governance, and integrity of the award stage.
The work team of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence also reviewed the tasks and responsibilities of the internal awards management team, which consists of a technical structure specialized in evaluation, operations, logistics, operation, communication, and marketing.
