Egypt's Minister of Planning and Economic Development visits (Rowad 2030) pavilion at WYF

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, inspected the Pioneers 2030" (Rowad 2030) pavilion at the World Youth Forum (WYF), held from January 10 to 13, in Sharm El Sheikh, under the patronage and presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Republic.
The Minister of Planning and Economic Development met with the Rowad 2030 project team and some entrepreneurs who benefited from the project. She also took memorial photos with some young people participating in the forum.
El-Said said that the (Rowad 2030) project is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Planning, which aims to support Egyptian youth, spread the culture of entrepreneurship, and provide opportunities to unleash the energies of youth.
The project also supports Egyptian youth through many business incubators and initiatives that provide opportunities for Egyptian youth.
El-Said stressed that the World Youth Forum (WYF) gives entrepreneurship a large space in its activities this year to ensure job opportunities and unconventional pathways for youth capabilities around the world.
For her part, Dr. Ghada Khalil, director of the (Rowad 2030) project, confirmed that entrepreneurship is one of the main issues that the forum will discuss.
Khalil added that this demonstrates the critical importance of the entrepreneurship sector and reflects the great technological development that is taking place in the world, in addition to its contribution to providing job opportunities for young people.
Khalil explained that the participation of (Rowad 2030) in the World Youth Forum is a great opportunity to showcase the many efforts that have been made in the field of entrepreneurship and have a major role in making Egypt ranked number one in the Middle East and North Africa in terms of investing in startups.
Moreover, Khalil noted that Egypt also ranks fourth in the African continent in terms of the number of startups.
The Rowad 2030 pavilion will witness the launch of the Egyptian-African Incubator, which will provide full support to the youth of the African continent in the field of entrepreneurship.
