The Rowad 2030 Project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development participated in the activities of the second day of the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum, which was held over 4 days in Sharm El-Sheikh, under patronage and presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.A special pavilion was allocated for the project to display its achievements and activities during the forum's activities.The pavilion received an unprecedentedly high turnout from the participants in the forum and competed for the pavilion most attractive to young people.Moreover, the large number of them from all nationalities of the world queued in front of the pavilion to learn about the activities of the 2030 pioneers.The project organizers also interacted with the youth and answered all their inquiries.The participants in the forum praised the 2030 pioneers, explaining that the activities and services provided by the project to them are very important and will achieve a major leap in the field of entrepreneurship in Egypt and will contribute to the country’s economic development and increase the number of start-ups.The project also announced the opening of the door for progress for a new batch in the Egyptian-African incubator, which will provide its services and full support to the youth of the African continent in the field of entrepreneurship, who have innovative ideas for start-up companies, which are online training courses where more than 40 training hours are provided.It also offers 8 training courses over 8 weeks dedicated to each young man according to his idea, and he will communicate with young people as a trainer via the Internet to study with them their ideas to turn them into real companies.The conditions for applying are that the applicants must be at least 2 partners, over the age of 21, have an idea for a start-up company, and belong to the African continent.


Rowad 2030 reopened the application for the Egyptian-African incubator, as part of the forum's activities.The project also gave the forum participants some online grants from the American University of Missouri in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, which were presented to them through a competition organized within the Pioneers Pavilion, and the young winners received the grant.For her part, Dr. Ghada Khalil, director of the Rowad 2030 project, said that the inclusion of the entrepreneurship file among the main files discussed this year in the World Youth Forum is the greatest evidence of the importance of this sector for the Egyptian political leadership, the participating countries and youth of all nationalities of the world, because it provides job opportunities and contributes to in economic development.Khalil confirmed that the project's orientation to launch the Egyptian-African incubator stems from the Egyptian state's interest in the African continent and its youth for the development of the continent in general, adding that the energy of the youth on the continent will advance it economically, through innovative projects and ideas among young people.
