Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence & Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif discuss the mechanism of activating participation in the Arab Government Excellence Award

The work team of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence and the leaders of the sectors of the sheikhdom of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif met to discuss mechanisms for the participation of Al-Azhar sectors and projects in the different categories of the Arab Government Excellence Award in its second session.During the meeting, Soha Said, Executive Director of the Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence and Coordinator of the Arab Excellence Award in the Arab Republic of Egypt; The different categories of individual and institutional awards, in addition to the mechanisms of participation and writing an application for candidacy on the website according to the listed requirements.Dr. Ahmed Seddik, Senior Evaluation, and Quality Officer presented an overview of global models related to government excellence, the challenges facing the government sector to implement the excellence system, and the advantages of world-leading institutions.Seddik clarified the criteria on which the Arab Excellence Model is based, which include the main tasks, innovation, and realization of the vision, which are in line with Egypt's 2030 vision, and the standard of integrated enablers, including the results and the influential performance of each of these criteria.For his part, Dr. Ismail Al-Haddad, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Al-Azhar, praised the efforts of the award administration to spread a culture of excellence and keenness on continuous communication and coordination. He referred to Al-Azhar's keenness to actively participate in the second cycle of the Arab Government Excellence Award at the institutional and individual levels.
