Minister of Planning and Economic Development discusses aspects of cooperation with the National Training Academy

Egypt's Minister of Planning & Economic Development, Dr. Hala El-Said received recently Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy, to follow up on the implementation of joint training programs and to discuss aspects of cooperation in implementing new training programs during the coming period.
During the meeting, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the National Training Academy has become the main center for developing capabilities and building the Egyptian person.
El-Said praised the training programs implemented by the Academy at all levels, which are in line with Egypt's Vision 2030, and support the Egyptian state's plans in all fields.
She also stressed the importance of preparing young people for leadership, executives, and intermediate leaders through distinguished programs and partnerships with the most prestigious international think tanks.
She added that a comprehensive plan was drawn up to implement a set of joint training programs between the ministry and the academy, noting the importance of implementing a set of intensive training programs in light of the training needs.
El-Said explained that the programs aim to encourage workers in general and youth, in particular, to deal skillfully with emerging issues, including the green economy, climate change issues, and demographic issues.
During the meeting, El-Said pointed out the importance of some topics in the content of the programs implemented by the Academy, especially the joint programs with government agencies, on top of which are the results of the Human Development Report ("Development is a Right for All: Egypt is the Path and March").
El-Said also referred to working with the Academy to implement some presidential directives, including the program to prepare Egyptian women for leadership positions (Women Lead) and entrepreneurship programs.
For her part, Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy, commented that this meeting was very fruitful, as usual with the meetings with Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development.
Ragheb noted that during the meeting, aspects of cooperation with the ministry in the coming period were discussed.
She also referred that an action plan was drawn up for a set of new training programs aimed at training and qualifying Egyptian women, both inside Egypt and in all governorates.
Ragheb emphasized that this continuous cooperation comes in fulfillment of the Academy's role in promoting and developing qualified and creative human capital to lead the development process to create a better future.
Rageb pointed out that the upcoming programs aim to empower women at the leadership and economic levels in a manner that benefits the Egyptian family and the prosperity of society in general, and achieves the internationally agreed-upon sustainable development goals.
