We are ready to move to the capital: Says Hala El-Said
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, toured the ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital, to follow up the work of preparing the ministry’s building in preparation for the transfer of workers during the coming period.During the tour, El-Said listened to an explanation of the works that were completed at the Ministry’s headquarters, from Dr. Tariq Abdel-Khaleq, the Minister’s advisor for human resources, and reviewed the full details of the transfer of employees in successive waves according to the specializations and the transition plan prepared by the Ministry.El-Said said that the new administrative capital is a national project with international technological standards, as it is a new administrative and economic city that expresses Egypt's launch into the future as one of the most important smart cities in the Middle East. El-Said emphasized that this huge project comes to be implemented in conjunction with the birth of the (New Republic), which requires concerted efforts to contribute to the implementation of such projects at the highest level of efficiency and quality.During her tour, El-Said drew attention to the necessity of completing all the furnishing works of the building and ensuring its complete readiness to complete the plan for housing workers in the places designated in the ministry, which were previously developed.El-Said indicated that the new administrative capital represents a civil, economic, and technological leap in the history of the Egyptian state, stressing that the masses of the Egyptian people, and indeed the foreign countries, are waiting for the opening of the new administrative capital.





Dr. Hala El-Said added that starting from the new year, 10% of the total ministry employees will be transferred, representing 10% of each sector in the ministry, so as not to disrupt the workflow, with another 10% moving on March 1, 20% on April 1, and 20% On May 1, by June 40% of employees will move.Her Excellency also inspected the building, the stages of processing and construction work that took place in it, the entry and exit ports, the locations of the Ministry's employees, the division of departments at the Ministry's headquarters, and the technological infrastructure implemented in the building.
