95 mobile technology centers that provide real estate, local and civil status services: Says Hala El-Said
H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, witnessed on Thursday the Ministry's delivery of a new batch of mobile technology centers cars to the Civil Status Sector of the Ministry of Interior, the Industrial Development Authority of the Ministry of Industry, the Egyptian Drug Authority, and the Spatial Information Infrastructure Integration Project for surveying.The handover witnessed the presence of Eng. Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation and Information Infrastructure, Major General Mahmoud Diab, Director of Regional and Service Projects at the Ministry of Planning, Major General Mohamed El Zalat, President of the Industrial Development Authority, Dr. Rasha Ziada, representative of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, representatives of the Ministry of Interior, and the Spatial Information Infrastructure Integration Project.Dr. Hala El-Said asserted that the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, in cooperation with all parties, aims to eliminate the obstacles to the performance of government services provided by these bodies to citizens and bring them to a high level of quality and ease, to achieve citizen satisfaction with government services and raise their quality.El-Said added that these centers were designed by a distinguished team of engineers and technicians from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.These centers were implemented in cooperation with many national Egyptian companies. El-Said pointed out that these centers depend, in their work, on mechanized work systems, secure connectivity, and electronic payment methods, so that the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development advances with promising steps towards the field of digital transformation in the field of services with Egyptian hands and minds and modern technology.El-Said indicated that the total number of mobile technology centers that the ministry has handed over to the authorities so far has reached 95 mobile technology centers, of which 62 were delivered in the fiscal year 20/2021, and 20 centers were delivered on November 8, in addition to 13 centers that were delivered today.
For his part, Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation and Information Infrastructure, pointed out the main and important role of the ministry in developing the means for providing government services in cooperation with all state agencies to reduce the burden on citizens and increase the effectiveness of all means that can be used for this purpose.This is within the mandate of the President of the Republic to develop government services and the means of providing them most efficiently and easily, and within the framework of a decent life initiative for all citizens.It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development had signed a protocol of cooperation with the Civil Status Sector Development Fund to provide model civil status centers equipped with all devices and equipment.These centers perform all the functions of the permanent civil registry office by issuing all the sources related to the civil status sector, such as national number cards, birth certificates, marriage documents, and family records. The Ministry of Planning has also cooperated with the Ministry of Justice in providing mobile documentation and real estate registration centers that provide all services of real estate and documentation offices, and the Ministry of Local Development in providing mobile technology centers that provide all local services.Soon a new batch will be delivered to the two ministries within the framework of the signed protocols.
