Planning Ministry delegation visits Qalyubia to follow up on the execution of FY 21/2022 projects

A delegation affiliated with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development visited recently Qalyubia Governorate for field follow-up and to determine the implementation position of the investment plan projects for the fiscal year 2021/2022 in the governorate.
During the visit, the delegation met with Major General/ Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Major General/ Hisham Khashaba, Secretary-General of Qalyubia Governorate, who accompanied the delegation during the visit to follow up on the projects on the ground.The visit included following up on some projects; These include the construction and expansion of the Saad Zagloul Tunnel in the city of Benha, the construction of a bridge on the main Qalyubia bank in the city of Benha, the project to complete the Nile Walk in the city of Benha, in addition to the follow-up of projects to complete the coverage of the Bassousiya Canal in the Qanater al-Khairiya Center.
The visit also included raising the efficiency of the Ahmed Orabi Bridge in the West Shubra al-Khaimah district, paving and beautification projects in the vicinity of Muhammad Ali Palace, paving separate roads in centers and cities, a project to rehabilitate and line the Sharkawiya Canal and construct a corniche on both sides of the Canal Bridge in the West Shubra al-Khaimah district.
The delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development was headed by Dr. Heba Mogheib, Head of the Regional Planning Sector, Mr. Mohamed Rashad Mohamed, Director General of the Greater Cairo Region, and Mr. Mamdouh Lotfy, Senior Researcher in the Regional Planning Sector.
