Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development hands over 20 mobile service centers to the Civil Status Sector at the Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has delivered the second batch of mobile model centers that provide all civil registry services with 20 mobile civil status centers, to the Civil Status Sector of the Ministry of Interior.Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the ministry is working to provide advanced centers equipped with the necessary equipment to work as mobile model centers that provide all civil registry services in their various versions.El-Said added that the initiative comes within the framework of working to develop means of providing government services in cooperation with state agencies to reduce the burden on citizens, reduce overcrowding in the places where these services are provided, and facilitate proper access to services to achieve citizen satisfaction. This contributes to the speedy completion of government transactions in line with the state's orientation towards digital transformation and providing a decent life for the Egyptian citizen.El-Said explained that the provision of these mobile centers comes within the framework of the protocol signed between the ministry and the Civil Status Sector Development Fund, as well as within the efforts of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development to raise the level of services provided to citizens, following up that the total of what was delivered to the civil status sector amounted to about 30 technological centers.For his part, Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Digital Transformation and Information Infrastructure stated that this initiative comes within the framework of the mandates of the President of the Republic.Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez indicated that it is planned to follow up the delivery of payments to the technology centers to the Civil Status Sector to reach the number of (40) cars that will be ready to work in all parts of the Republic by the end of the current year 2021.
