'Rowad 2030' (entrepreneurship) project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced that several cooperation protocols within the framework of the “One Million Entrepreneurs” campaign were signed with the universities of Luxor, South Valley, Alexandria, Fayoum, Benha, and Suez Canal University.

According to the aforementioned signed protocols, certain places were allocated for university students to register on the platform, "The “One Million Entrepreneurs” ", through a QRCode dedicated to each university.
Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign provides innovative and realistic solutions to economic challenges such as stimulating the economy with emerging projects for young people to become productive social forces that contribute effectively to efforts to achieve development.
El-Said added that the "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign contributes to reducing the unemployment rate.
El-Said highlighted that the state is linking the concept of entrepreneurship to its strategic plans.
For her part, Dr. Ghada Khalil, Director of the Rowad 2030 Project, indicated the project’s participation in many events such as the Egypt Career Summit and Start-Up Land.
 Khalil explained that these events witnessed a great turnout of young people to register their data on the “One Million Entrepreneurs” campaign. She also referred to the project's visit to the city of Bahariya Oasis where an introductory session was held about the campaign and to help young people how to register with it.
Khalil said that the first phase of the campaign witnessed a great turnout from young people, as 13,000 trainees joined it since the beginning of the campaign.
She added that the lectures that were run during the first phase of the training programs reached more than 187,000 lectures; with a total of about 38,000 training courses, noting that the percentage of males registered in the campaign reached 67% and 33% for females.
Khalil explained that several societal groups representing different governorates of Egypt with different educational backgrounds have joined the campaign, including 53.2% of students, 2.5% of Ph.D. holders, 7.8% of masters and postgraduate studies, and 36.5% of university graduates.
 Khalil added that several people with different professional backgrounds joined the campaign, including 10% of the founder of a startup company, 48% with a job and a job, and 42% without a job.
On the reasons for joining the campaign; Dr. Ghada Khalil indicated that those joining the "One Million Entrepreneurs" have various goals from joining it, including 9% of them because of overcoming challenges in a startup company, and 78% to learn about the field of entrepreneurship, and 13% want to launch a startup company.
 Khalil explained that the most popular courses for the trainees are effective leadership skills, corporate financial management, and business development in companies, in addition to the course "From an Idea to a Project".

The Rowad 2030 Project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development launched the "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign last April, which aims to qualify one million entrepreneurs and contribute to the establishment of 50,000 start-up companies by 2030.
The "One Million Entrepreneurs" campaign targets Egyptian youth of all ages, groups, and different educational levels. The entire training program is offered online, with highly qualified trainers, and entrepreneurship training programs in both Arabic and English, in addition, to sign language.


During the first phase of the training programs, the trainee will study 8 different subjects, namely building a business model for start-ups, testing the idea of startup projects, financial management for start-ups, business development for start-ups, and brand building for start-ups.
 The trainee also studies effective leadership skills for entrepreneurs, the readiness of start-ups for investment, and the course "From Idea to Project in 30 Days".
The trainee must study all 8 subjects to obtain a certificate of completion of the course at the end of the program.
