In cooperation with USAID: The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development holds a workshop to develop performance measurement indicators

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, in cooperation with the USAID-funded Macroeconomic Reform and Stability Project, organized; a two-day workshop on mechanisms for updating and developing strategic and executive performance indicators for the Ministry's programs and projects.
The first day of the workshop started with an opening speech from Eng. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development; In it, he reviewed the most important programs of the Ministry, indicators of performance measurement, and the strategic map of the Ministry.
Dr. Reem Abdel Halim, Director of the Planning Component of the Macroeconomic Reform and Stability Project; An extensive presentation of the project, its objectives, and the most important mechanisms for its implementation.
Dr. Ahmed Ashour, the project's economic expert, gave a lecture on formulating performance indicators at the level of output, outcome, and impact.
During the second day of the workshop, application models were developed on the strategic plan of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and proposals for developing performance measurement indicators.
The workshop was attended by some assistants to the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, heads of sectors, qualitative units and projects, and strategic planning departments.
