The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development holds a training program for its project managers

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, in cooperation with the Institute-of-National-Planning (INP), held a training program on "standard costing" to raise the efficiency of project managers in the ministry and its affiliates based on cost accounting, planning budgets, and terms and conditions of standard costs.
Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, stressed the importance of training in refining the skills and capabilities of workers.
El-Said noted that investment in the human element is the main engine to achieve the aspirations of the state, which comes within the framework of achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030.
During the opening of the training program, Eng. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and supervisor of strategic management, pointed out the importance of strategic planning in the follow-up and evaluation process, and its role in setting specific goals for the plan that is clear and measurable.
Mustafa explained that the program includes training on the cost system based on activities, the foundations for tabulating costs, and methods for allocating direct costs, in addition to planning budgets and income lists for programs, as well as practical applications on the program's pillars.
