The Human Development Report praised Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence’s role: Minister of Planning & Economic Development

Dr. Hala El-Said , Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence is divided into two categories of sub-awards, which are awards for institutional excellence, and awards for individual excellence, to consolidate the values of governance.
El-Said’s words came under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and His Excellency Minister Mohamed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future in the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of some ministers.El-Said also clarified that some new categories were added in the second cycle of the award, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, to promote a culture of excellence at all levels of work, pointing to the new awards, which included the “Best Government Employee” award within the distinguished leadership awards, which consolidates the thought of excellence from the beginning of the career ladder to leadership, as well as the "Best Team Work" award, which enhances the spirit of positive competition and teamwork.Dr. Hala El-Said referred to the launch of the Human Development Report in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program under the title "Development is a Right for All: Egypt: March & Path".El-Said stressed that it represents one of the most important international reports that monitor with complete impartiality the status of human development worldwide, explaining that the report indicated the award’s role in raising the efficiency of government institutions, in testimony to the importance of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence and its role in stimulating the spirit of competition and excellence among workers.
El-Said pointed out that the report monitored the efforts of the Egyptian state during the past seven years with its achievements and challenges, and the implemented projects and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen, as well as monitoring the efforts made in the field of governance, which is one of the main pillars of promoting the right to development and ensuring equal opportunities.
