COVID-19 expanded the digital transformation umbrella: Minister of Planning and Economic Development

Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the Covid-19 pandemic has posed enormous challenges, accelerating the pace of mechanization of government services, expanding the umbrella of digital transformation, innovating more solutions and applications to facilitate citizens, and providing innovative services that keep pace with the times.This came during her speech at the ceremony of announcing the Egypt Awards for Government Excellence, which was held on Tuesday under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.El-Said referred to the "Mobile Technology Services Vehicles" project, which aims to deliver government services through mobile cars to facilitate the citizen and relieve crowded centers.The ceremony was attended by guests of Egypt from the sisterly United Arab Emirates, a group of ministers, ambassadors, members of parliament, members of judicial bodies, and university presidents, as well as distinguished elite of media professionals, thinkers, and government officials.
