The Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence announced the launch of hotline No. 19552 to respond to all inquiries and receive complaints and suggestions related to the award, coinciding with the launch of the closing ceremony for distributing the Egypt Government Excellence Awards on October 19.

Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the winners of the Egypt Award for Gov't Excellence 2020 will be announced in its second session during the award ceremony, which is scheduled to be held next Tuesday.

El-Said explained that the number of categories nominated for the award amounted to 19, adding that the applications for nomination for the award amounted to more than 3000 applications.

El-Said asserted that the current stage has witnessed a complete electronic transformation of all applications and evaluation processes, which contributed significantly to reducing the percentage of exclusions to 14% instead of 39% in the first cycle.

El-Said explained that the main objective of the annual award is to stimulate the spirit of competition and excellence, whether at the level of employees or the level of government institutions.

For his part, Eng. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and supervisor of the Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence, said that the launch of the award’s hotline came within the framework of the keenness of Award to consolidate direct communication between the award and the concerned parties, in light of achieving the highest satisfaction rates for customers.
Mustafa added that we seek to implement an administrative system that is in line with international best practices, which contributes to laying solid foundations to support the journey of continuous development and improvement.

Eng. Khaled Mustafa explained that the award includes six awards, namely the Distinguished Institution Award, the Distinguished Unit, Government Services, Institutional Innovation and Creativity, the Distinguished Leaders Award, and Individual Excellence.
