Egypt's Minister of Planning & Economic Development discusses best ways to build cadres with her Yemeni counterpart

Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development received Dr. Waed Badheeb, Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation to discuss ways of cooperation in the areas of development and rehabilitation of Yemeni cadres in some sectors.
At the beginning of the meeting, El-Said stressed the depth of the Egyptian-Yemeni relations.
She added that the two countries have strong strategic relations, referring to the current visit of the Yemeni Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation to Egypt to discuss bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.
El-Said asserted the readiness to provide all aspects of support to Yemen. This is within the framework of the political leadership’s orientations, which came after the meeting of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi with the Yemeni Prime Minister last July.
Dr. Hala El-Said reviewed the tasks of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in the Egyptian state, referring to the comprehensive Egyptian development experiences and achievements that come within the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030, and in the context of achieving the goals of Africa's Agenda 2063.
El-Said also referred to the national project for the development of Egyptian rural villages, "A Decent Life," noting the project's features and objectives, and the plans and programs approved for the initiative's success.
She affirmed Egypt's readiness to cooperate in the fields of exchanging experiences, training, and other fields offered to the Yemeni side.
For his part, Dr. Waed Badheeb, pointed to Yemen's need for cooperation in the fields of qualifying cadres and transferring successful Egyptian expertise and experiences, especially in the field of development.
Badheeb stressed the importance of continuing cooperation in various fields in the coming period, through the Yemeni-Egyptian joint ministerial committee, stressing the depth of joint relations between the two brotherly countries in various aspects.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Jamil Helmy, Assistant Minister of Planning for Follow-up Affairs of the Sustainable Development Plan, Ambassador Hazem Khairat, Supervisor of the International Cooperation Office at the Ministry, and from the Yemeni side, Mr. Jamal Jabari, Minister Plenipotentiary from the Yemeni Embassy In Cairo.
