Planning Ministry delegation inspects projects of Damanhour University, the Egyptian-Japanese University, and the Scientific Research City

A delegation from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development paid a visit recently to the universities of Damanhour, the Egyptian-Japanese, and the Scientific Research City to follow up on the projects being implemented in those universities.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, asserted the ministry's keenness and belief in the importance of following up on projects that are being implemented and those that have already been completed, especially projects that address citizens' needs, such as those related to health or education.
During the visit, the ministry delegation met with Dr. Obaid Saleh, President of Damanhour University.
The meeting discussed the university's future needs within the limits of the resources available to it.
The visit also included a meeting with Dr. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology.
It is noteworthy that the projects of Damanhour University included the construction of the central laboratory building for EGP 105 million, this project was completed and entered the educational service this year.
Moreover, the projects of the aforementioned university included the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and the Teaching Hospital for EGP 1257 million.
The projects of the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology also included the establishment of the permanent headquarters of the university (the first phase) in the new Borg El Arab in Alexandria for EGP 6.5 billion, as well as the construction of the buildings of the third phase of the Egyptian-Japanese University in Borg El Arab at EGP10 billion.
The projects of the Scientific Research City for Science and Technology included the project to complete the Science and Technology Valley building in the Scientific Research City in Borg El Arab, for EGP102 million.
