Egypt’s NIGSD launches the examination stage for the training program "Executive Leadership for Women in the Egyptian Government"

Egypt’s National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, launched on Sunday the examination phase for the training program "Executive Leadership for Women in the Egyptian Government" for 128 leading female figures.
The exams will continue for five consecutive days until October 14.
Dr. Sharifa Sharif, Executive Director of NIGSD, explained that the goal of the program is to empower promising leaders and hone their expertise in dealing with contemporary challenges of government work, in addition to improving institutional performance and contributing to supporting government performance.
The training program "Executive Leadership for Women in the Egyptian Government" aims to empower promising leaders by focusing on many basic topics using an integrated training curriculum that enhances interactive participation and exchange of experiences between participating government leaders.
The technical pillars of the training program include an introduction to management, the external environment and organizational culture of modern organizations, administrative decision-making, strategic planning and management, ethics and social responsibility for modern government organizations, international management, organizational structure, organizational transformation, human resources management, and generation’s management besides other several topics.
The executive leadership training program for women in the Egyptian government is held for 20 training days, two days a week, benefiting 128 women leaders, including 50 trainees from Cairo Governorate, 20 trainees from Gharbia Governorate, 20 from Beheira Governorate, 13 trainees from Damietta Governorate, and 25 trainees From the city of Mansoura.
