Ministry of Planning and Economic Development holds a workshop on operational settings for the mobile technology centers concerned with local services

Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development held on Sunday a workshop to present the operating controls and technical settings for the mobile technology centers concerned with local services.
Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Hala El-Said said that the workshop came within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to develop the services provided to citizens to reach the best possible ways and means and to facilitate access to those services, in the context of improving the (Decent Life) of the Egyptian citizen.
El-Said stressed the importance of the mobile technology centers project, which aims to reduce the congestion of citizens in the places where these services are provided and to facilitate the process of their access to services in a decent manner to achieve citizen satisfaction.
For his part, Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Digital Transformation, explained that the workshop witnessed a review of the controls, technical preparations, and procedures necessary to finalize transactions on the system from within the mobile centers to achieve the maximum benefit from those centers.
The workshop witnessed a review of some successful experiences in the governorates within the framework of the implementation of the mobile technology center initiative, where the attendees praised the provision of these centers, which in turn contributed to providing shop licensing services to citizens in their places of residence, which won citizens' satisfaction.
The workshop also included a discussion of all the comments from the participants to reach the main goal of the project, which is to achieve the highest levels of efficiency in providing government services and achieving citizen satisfaction.
The discussion was also opened with the deputies of the governors and all attendees, where the discussion touched on the importance of expanding the provision of mobile technology centers based on the actual needs of the governorates and in proportion to the population density of each governorate and the nature of the services it provides.
The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development had signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Local Development to provide mobile technology centers and train workers on them, as 31 mobile technology centers were delivered to various governorates.
The initiative of the technology centers comes within the framework of the main role of the Ministry of Planning to develop the means of providing government services in cooperation with all state agencies to reduce the burden on citizensز
