Egypt’s Minister of Planning, New Valley Governor discuss the governorate's projects in in FY 2021/2022 plan

Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, received Major General Mohamed Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, to discuss the governorate's plan and projects included in the investment plan for the current fiscal year 2021/2022.
During the meeting, El-Said discussed the governorate's plans and projects, which are included in the investment plan, and the implementation rates reached by those projects.
El-Said stressed the need to focus on the relative importance of projects and to give priority to the most important projects, explaining the need to exploit what the governorate possesses of natural ingredients.
The meeting also touched on discussing many strategic files that the ministry is working on and plans for expansion in urban development, as well as the implementation of a decent life initiative.
El-Said explained that according to the investments directed to the New Valley Governorate in the investment plan, the electricity sector received the largest percentage of the targeted investments directed to the New Valley Governorate.
Regarding the governorate's most important projects in many sectors, El-Said indicated the establishment of many new hospitals in the governorate's centers concerning health services.
El-Said also talked about other service projects, which include supporting the needs of local units in all governorate centers, establishing youth centers, and completing the development of the road system.
