Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and Executive Director of the National Training Academy discuss the Academy’s future plan and training programs

H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic
Development and International Cooperation, met with Dr. Solafa Goueli,
Executive Director of National Training Academy, to discuss avenues for
cooperation in supporting training and presidential programs, as well as the
Academy’s future plan and training initiatives. The meeting was attended by Dr.
Taher Nasr, Deputy Executive Director of the Academy, and Ms. Heba Abdel
Moneim, Supervisor of the Human Development Sector at the Ministry of Planning,
Economic Development and International Cooperation.
During the meeting, H.E. Dr. Al-Mashat emphasized the
State’s commitment to providing all forms of support for training and
capacity-building programs, particularly presidential programs aimed at
preparing and qualifying cadres capable of leading development pathways across
various sectors. This approach aligns with the State’s direction toward
investing in human capital as the cornerstone of sustainable development.
H.E. Dr. Al-Mashat noted that the National Training Academy
represents a leading national model for preparing young cadres and executive
leaders through comprehensive training programs that enhance leadership and
technical skills and embed modern management concepts. These efforts contribute
to strengthening the efficiency of the State’s administrative apparatus and
keeping pace with the requirements of the New Republic.
She stressed that investment in human capital is among the
State’s top priorities, highlighting that investment in training, knowledge
transfer, and skills development is one of the most important drivers of
improved institutional performance and enhanced capacity to implement public
policies efficiently and flexibly. She affirmed that the Ministry will continue
to support effective partnerships with the National Training Academy to ensure
the preparation of qualified cadres equipped with strategic thinking tools and
capable of addressing evolving development challenges.
The meeting also discussed the Academy’s future plan and
training programs, as well as ways to further develop them to ensure the
sustainability of training impact and maximize the benefits of accumulated
expertise. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and
cooperation between the Ministry and the Academy to support the national
capacity-building system and align training programs with the State’s
priorities and development plans.
For her part, Dr. Solafa Goueli affirmed that the meeting
with H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat reflects the depth of the institutional
partnership between the Academy and the Ministry, and embodies the Egyptian
State’s vision of investing in human development as the main driver of
sustainable development.
She explained that the National Training Academy operates
under a strategic vision aimed at preparing national cadres capable of
leadership and effective decision-making through integrated training and
presidential programs based on the latest training and capacity-building
methodologies. These programs are designed to align with the requirements and
development directions of the Egyptian State across various sectors.
Dr. Solafa Goueli added that the support of the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation represents a fundamental pillar in enhancing the sustainability of the Academy’s training programs and linking their outputs to the State’s needs and development priorities. This contributes to improving the efficiency of the State’s administrative apparatus and preparing leaders equipped with strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to respond to changing challenges.
