Egypt’s Ministry of Planning launches “Data Analysis and Statistical Capabilities” training program for 250 state employees

Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, asserted the ministry's keenness to work on enhancing the capabilities of workers in all state institutions, to reach the highest levels of efficiency among workers, as well as preparing them to respond to the new programs and technology.
El-Said explained that the training process contributes to providing the human competencies that any organization needs to achieve its goals, and works to rehabilitate them in line with the requirements of modern word systems.
El_Said added that within the framework of the Ministry of Planning’s work and to benefit from the training process, the Ministry held the training program “Data Analysis and Statistical Capabilities” virtually over two days, in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates to train 250 trainees from various ministries, governorates, and many bodies.
On his part, M. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, said that the training program dealt with many pillars regarding the criteria of the government data maturity indicator in the UAE.
Mustafa pointed out that this indicator aims to enhance the ability of government agencies to manage high-quality data, adding that the main pillars of data management in the organizational and operational framework are to ensure data quality, data flow, and availability.
It is worth noting that the countries of Egypt and the UAE have close historical relations, in addition to the cooperation that the Ministry of Planning is keen to enhance with UAE in terms of developing the administrative apparatus and developing the capabilities of its employees.
