Planning Ministry’s delegation pays a visit to the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Authority

The delegation of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development is concerned with the management and implementation of the "Egypt Government Excellence Award", headed by Eng. Khaled Mustafa, the permanent agent of the ministry and the general supervisor of the award, visited the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Authority.
The visit is part of a series of visits by the award administration to some government agencies participating in the award to discuss the reports and recommendations that were monitored during the evaluation phase of the award’s second cycle 2020.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development stated that the visit came as an embodiment of the directives of the country’s political leadership to achieve the sustainable development strategy (Egypt Vision 2030).
The visit also is based on the vision of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence that aims to build an efficient and effective administrative apparatus that includes distinguished and superior government institutions and bodies in all aspects of performance to improve the quality of the life of an Egyptian citizen.
M. Khaled Mostafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence, said that the visit comes within the framework of the state's efforts to spread a culture of excellence and institutional development in all sectors and to provide support to government agencies during their journey towards government excellence.
During the visit, Eng. Khaled Mostafa reviewed many topics related to the directions of the award in the next phase to be reflected on the real estate registry offices in providing better services.
Mustafa also referred to the ways of cooperation and efforts made by the Real Estate Registration Authority during the activities of the second session of the award. He also reviewed several reports and recommendations that were monitored during the evaluation stage, as well as development opportunities for the next session.
During the visit, Eng. Khaled Mustafa presented many proposals, which received great approval from the Assistant Minister of Justice, which revolved around offering internal prizes to the interest to raise the spirit of competition among real estate offices to provide better services to citizens, with the award administration providing workshops to educate those in charge on the files of excellence within the authority in preparation for publishing them on all the offices of the real estate registry.
Eng. Khaled Mustafa also reviewed many ideas that contribute to finding solutions to the challenges facing real estate offices’, stressing the importance of following up on electronic means of communication.
For his part, Counselor Ashraf Hegazy, Assistant Minister of Justice for Real Estate and Documentation Affairs, reviewed the challenges facing the real estate registry to provide better services to citizens, stressing the quest to increase the number of mechanized offices.
Ms. Soha Saeed, Executive Director of the Award, reviewed the training courses and workshops that were presented at the level of all categories, in addition to the training programs offered on electronic communication platforms.
Dr. Mohamed Mohammadi, Director of Evaluation for the Award, stressed the importance of informing the real estate officials of the strategic plan of Egypt's Vision 2030, the need to develop a program for the needs of human cadres, including areas of government excellence, the importance of opinion polls among the dealing citizens and the follow-up of performance indicators.
