Planning Ministry‘s delegation heads to Ismailia to follow up on the projects of the 2021-2022 investment plan

A delegation from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, headed by Dr. Heba Mughaib, supervisor of the regional planning sector in the ministry, paid a field visit to Ismailia Governorate to follow up on the projects of the investment plan for the ending fiscal year, as well as the projects of the current fiscal year 2022/2021.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, stressed the importance of field follow-up and evaluation on the ground, which contributes to improving the governance process and spending efficiency, especially the government’s investment spending.El-Said explained that the planning process must be followed to ensure sustainability, which contributes to achieving the principles of transparency, which in turn contributes to improving the lives of the citizen.For her part, Dr. Heba Mughaib, supervisor of the regional planning sector at the Ministry of Planning, stated that the visit came within the framework of Dr. Hala El-Said’s directives to follow up on the field projects of the investment plan.
Mughaib added that the visit witnessed a meeting with some Ismailia governorate leaders, led by Major General Sherif Bishara, Ismailia Governor, Majdi Anani, Secretary-General, and planning officials in the governorate.Mughaib explained that the most important achievements made on the territory of the governorate were discussed, as well as some obstacles to implementation.Mugheeb added that the tour came to follow up on the most important projects on the ground, which included projects to develop and raise the efficiency of Martyrs Square in Ismailia, develop and pave the efficiency of Fouad Aziz Ghaly Street, the project to establish Dervishes Park, and develop Mustafa Kamel Square, in addition to the completion of the construction of the Ismailia Center and City building.
Moreover, the tour included the inspection of the technology center, as well as the completion of the implementation of the first craft workshops area in the city of the future in Ismailia on an area of 18 acres, and the second area to be established on an area of 25 acres.
Mugheeb added that the tour included a follow-up to the work being carried out on the easier land road to the Suez Canal, the follow-up to the work being carried out on the Abu Suwayr Canal Road, Al Wasfia Village, Ismailia Zagazig Agricultural Road as well as the completion of the implementation of the first phase of the explosives building in the Department of Civil Protection and follow-up to the work of the second phase.
