Regarding the pillars of the Rowad 2030 project, Khalil explained that the project is based on three main pillars: supporting capacity-building and skills development in the field of entrepreneurship, expanding the establishment and development of business incubators, and increasing educational and community awareness of the importance of implementing the entrepreneurship and innovation system.

Khalil also highlighted the achievements of the Rowad 2030 project in each of the three pillars, noting the provision of a Master of Entrepreneurship grant in cooperation with the University of Cambridge, and a grant for mastering business skills for entrepreneurs, as well as the provision of a specialized certificate in entrepreneurship.
The Rowad 2030 project initiated nine entrepreneurship incubators, as well as new incubators, are being completed, so that the total number of incubators will be 20 by 2022.

The achievements of the Rowad 2030 project also included the launch of the project for some campaigns, referring to the (Start Your Future) campaign, which was implemented in universities for about 20,000 male and female students in 20 Egyptian universities.

Khalil continued talking about the campaigns launched by the project within the framework of the third pillar, which is concerned with increasing educational and societal awareness of the importance of implementing the entrepreneurship and innovation system.

Khalil referred to the Adam series, Rowad Studio, and Entrepreneur Capsules, as well as the “Be an Entrepreneur” campaign, Rowad magazine and application, and the launch of a training program to raise the efficiency of incubator managers in Egypt.

Khalil explained that the observance of sustainable development goals and the quality of education prompted the Rowad 2030 project to choose the best universities and scientific institutions to partner with them.
