The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the “Rowad 2030” Project, launched its awareness campaign, entitled “Be a Pioneer” to spread the idea of ​​entrepreneurship and self-employment for the children of employees in various government agencies. The campaign was launched by holding a training program for the children of employees of the Ministry of Finance.Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, explained that the training program contributes to encouraging the pioneering thinking of the children of government employees and discovering real entrepreneurs by creating applicable pioneering ideas.


El-Said referred to the state's interest in supporting the entrepreneurship and innovation system in different societies, urging young people and entrepreneurs to think about self-employment in an atypical manner and encouraging them to set up their projects that aim at the renaissance of society.


For her part, Dr. Ghada Khalil, director of the” Rowad 2030” project, explained that the awareness program was launched through social networking sites via video conference technology, where one of the specialized trainers provides basic knowledge and skills to qualify them to become entrepreneurs.


Khalil confirmed that the trainees are being qualified for the 'One Million Entrepreneurs' campaign, which aims to qualify one million entrepreneurs by 2030.
This is within the framework of the sustainable development strategy; Egypt’s Vision 2030, in addition to benefiting from the grants and programs offered by the “Rowad 2030” project.


Khalil added that the “Rowad 2030” project realized the importance of providing awareness campaigns to spread the idea of ​​entrepreneurship and self-employment for the children of workers in various government agencies.



Khalil explained that the first training session was attended by 350 children of workers from different governorates in the Ministry of Finance, 36% of who are from Cairo and others from Alexandria, Upper Egypt, Delta, Canal, and others.
