Ministry of Planning & Economic Development delivers 5 mobile model technology centers for the Civil Status Authority

Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development handed over on Sunday five mobile civil status centers to the Civil Status Sector of the Ministry of Interior, within the framework of the protocol signed between the Ministry and the Civil Status Sector Development Fund, which comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to improve the level of services provided to citizens.
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the ministry is working to provide advanced centers equipped with the necessary equipment to work as mobile model centers that provide all civil registry services in their various versions.
El-Said added that the initiative comes within the framework of working to develop the means of providing government services in cooperation with state agencies to reduce the burden on citizens, reduce overcrowding in the places where those services are provided, and facilitate proper access to services to achieve citizen satisfaction.
El-Said also asserted that the provision of these mobile centers to the Civil Status Authority comes in achieving the objectives of the “Decent Life” Initiative and the efforts of the state in providing a decent life for citizens in various fields and services provided to them.
Engineer Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation, indicated that it is planned to follow up the delivery of payments to the technology centers to the Civil Status Sector to reach the number of (40) cars that will be ready to work in all parts of Egypt by the end of the current year 2021.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development had signed a cooperation protocol with the Civil Status Sector Development Fund, according to which the Ministry of Planning provides 20 model civil status centers equipped with all devices and equipment to perform all the functions of the fixed civil registry office from issuing all civil status sector sources from National ID cards and birth certificates.
