Under the supervision of the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and within the framework of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects: The Ministry receives the "Ideal City" project for a group of people of determination at Dalil Al-Khair Foundation

The Ministry of Planning,
Economic Development and International Cooperation, represented by the National
Initiative for Smart Green Projects, received representatives of the Daleel
Al-Khair Foundation to support people of determination and a group of special
abilities and their families, in the presence of Ambassador Hisham Badr,
Assistant Minister for Strategic Partnerships and Excellence and Initiatives,
and the General Coordinator of the initiative, Dr. Eman Karim, General
Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, Eng. Samar
Hasab Allah, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, Maysa
Atwa, a member of the Social Solidarity, Family and Persons with Disabilities
Committee in Parliament, Dr. Manal Metwally, Chairman of the Environment
Committee of the Engineers Syndicate, and a number of representatives of the
Ministry.
During the meeting, the children
of determination presented their project, which came under the name of
"The Ideal city", where the project was presented through a
compilation of all the elements of the ideal city and the brainstorming of
these children, taking into account the elements of the smart green project, to
suit the objectives of the national initiative for smart green projects,as the
aim of the project is to design a sustainable and ideal green city where people
of determination integrate with all members of the community.
Ambassador Hisham Badr welcomed
the presence of children of determination and their families, encouraging them
to take sustainability into account in their projects. Affirming that the
Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and
Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat are keen to support these children so that they
can present their project at this year's National Conference of the Initiative
within innovative and winning projects, As well as supporting the preparation
of the project to provide it among international practices that reflect the
participation of different groups of society in supporting the green economy.
The National Initiative for Smart
Green Projects is a pioneering initiative in the field of sustainable and
intelligent development and dealing with the environmental dimension and the
effects of climate change, by mapping the governorate level of smart green
projects and attracting the investments needed for them. It is an inspiring
model of Egypt's best practices and pioneering successful experiences to the
world.
