Minister of Planning Attends 27th BRICS Economic Forum in Russia

H.E.Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, has traveled to Russia to participate in the 27th BRICS International Economic Forum. The forum, titled “Transition to a Multipolar Global Economy,” is being held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, from June 5 to 8.
Dr. Hala El-Said is scheduled to participate in several events during the forum. She will speak at an event titled “Expansion and Spread of BRICS Countries: New Opportunities for Trade Cooperation under the Theme: Transition to a Multipolar Global Economy” and another titled “The Role of BRICS Countries in Ensuring Global Food Security.”
The minister’s agenda at the forum includes participating in the Women Leaders in Investment event and the event “Transformation for Global Growth: The Role of the Financial Sector in Achieving Developmental Goals.”
The forum serves as an effective platform for exchanging views and experiences among policymakers, officials, and business representatives from various countries. The event addresses key economic issues and challenges facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world.
