NIGSD Launches "Leadership in Organizational Change" Training for Justice Ministry Leaders

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, has launched a new phase of the “Leadership in Dynamic Organizations” training program for 35 senior leaders at the Ministry of Justice.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, emphasized the importance of training and capacity building as fundamental pillars for the success of any institution. This is achieved through a structured plan aimed at equipping employees with the skills and abilities relevant to their work, which helps in improving performance.
Sherif highlighted the institute’s commitment to establishing partnerships with relevant local and international institutions to broaden its expertise and benefit from renowned academic institutions that have made significant strides in training, capacity building, education, research, and consultancy.
Sherif explained that the launch of the “Leadership in Dynamic Organizations” training program comes as part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the American University in Cairo. The program will be conducted over two months at the American University in Cairo. The training program includes the study and discussion of various topics, such as public policy analysis, strategic management in the government sector, leadership, and institutional reform.
