Ministry of Planning and Supreme Court Chief Justice Collaborate to Expand Court Services Accessibility

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Counselor Hosni Abdel Latif, President of the Cassation Court and Chief Justice of the Supreme Judiciary Council, signed a cooperation protocol to provide Cassation Court services at "Egypt Services" fixed centers, along with providing mobile centers to deliver Cassation Court outputs in several governorates.
The protocol signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Digital Transformation and Information Infrastructure, Eng. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Director of Spatial Information Infrastructure Projects, and from the Cassation Court, Counselor Ahmed Rafat, Deputy President of the Cassation Court and Secretary-General of the Supreme Judiciary Council, Counselor Mohamed Abdel Latif, Vice President of the Cassation Court and Head of the International Cooperation Office.
Dr. Hala El-Said explained that the protocol signing stems from the role of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in developing means of delivering government services, pointing out that the ministry provides five mobile technology centers to deliver Cassation Court services while making the court's services available at fixed Egypt Services centers, to contribute to facilitating the provision of these services to citizens.
El-Said affirmed that the protocol is also in line with the state's strategy towards developing means of delivering government services, and the cooperation of all entities and ministries to improve services, ultimately achieving citizen satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of information technology and its role in achieving sustainable development, and recognizing the noble mission of the Cassation Court in developing the judicial system and urging the use of the latest means and technological techniques to facilitate the delivery of government services.
On his part, Eng. Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Digital Transformation and Information Infrastructure, stated that this protocol comes within the framework of facilitating the use of the latest means in delivering government services in cooperation with all government entities, and as a continuation of the efforts made by those entities in developing services provided to citizens and integrating those means with all channels of government service delivery.
The signing ceremony of the protocol was attended by Counselor Ahmed El-Gazar, Legal Expert at the Information Infrastructure Center affiliated with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Colonel Yasser Abdullah, Director of the Mobile Technology Centers Project, and Tamer Rafat, Director of Egypt Services Project.
