Egypt is expanding in the digital transformation towards citizen satisfaction: says Hala El-Said
Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, participated on Thursday in the delivery of some mobile technology centers, which will provide real estate registration and notarization services, in the presence of Minister of Justice Omar Marwan and Mohamed Taher Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria.
El-Said stressed the importance of the "Mobile Technology Services Centers" project, explaining that the coronavirus pandemic, despite its negative effects, prompted all state institutions and the private sector to search for innovative ways to deliver services in various fields, whether health or educational, as well as services provided to citizens directly in a way that saves time and effort and prevents crowding and congestion.
El-Said continued that the idea of mobile technology centers allows access to citizens in their places of residence in record time, to quickly complete the provision of services easily and efficiently, pointing to the trend towards expanding digital transformation towards citizen satisfaction.
El-Said explained that the mobile technology centers’ project benefits the citizen in the first place, as well as the state, as it contributes to maximizing the state's resources.
El-Said pointed out that the centers are equipped with the latest technologies that provide secure and fast connections to the real estate registration system.
El-Said stressed that the project comes within the state's keenness to improve the performance of government services, achieve transparency and integrity in obtaining them, in line with the goals of Egypt 2030 Vision.
In April, El-Said witnessed the ceremonial delivery of 12 fully-equipped mobile technology centers by the ministry as a first batch to the Ministry of Local Development represented in 8 governorates: Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Minya, Alexandria, Luxor, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Aswan.
