The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), the training arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Planning & Economic Development, is proud to announce the launch of a specialized batch of the "Be an Ambassador" initiative tailored for trainees from the Administrative Prosecution Authority. Themed "Administrative Prosecution and Achieving Sustainable Development Goals," this initiative is conducted in collaboration with the Women and Persons with Disabilities Affairs Unit at the Administrative Prosecution Authority.


The inauguration of the training program was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Ashraf Abdel Hafez, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation and Information Infrastructure; Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of NIGSD; Counselor Mohammed Abu Zeid Pasha, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution; Counselor Heba Allah El Gendy, Director of the Women and Human Rights Affairs and Persons with Disabilities Unit at the Administrative Prosecution; and Dr. Hussein Abaza, International Advisor for Sustainable Development and Green Economy.


Dr. Sherifa Sherif provided insights into the institute's evolution, highlighting its pivotal role in governance for sustainable development. She emphasized the institute's collaborations with prestigious institutions and its commitment to monitoring indicators related to governance and sustainable development.


Mr. Ashraf Abdel Hafez emphasized the significance of the program in enhancing government performance, aligning with Egypt's objectives for sustainable development. The comprehensive training curriculum encompasses topics such as governance, sustainable development, digitization, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.


Counselor Mohammed Abu Zeid Pasha underscored the rigorous selection process for the 30 trainees from the Administrative Prosecution Authority, aimed at maximizing the utilization of their expertise.


Counselor Heba Allah El Gendy expressed optimism regarding the trainees' acquisition of valuable insights across various subjects, which will enhance their professional capacities.


Dr. Hussein Abaza elaborated on the interactive nature of the training program, emphasizing the crucial role of legislation in achieving sustainable development goals.


The week-long program will cover a wide array of topics, including environmental thought evolution, sustainable development inception and progression, Egypt's Vision 2030, governance for sustainable development, digitization, artificial intelligence, anti-corruption efforts, and government service development projects.
