The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD), under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, proudly announces the commencement of the third iteration of its esteemed "Innovative Governance in the Digital Age" training program. In collaboration with Thunderbird School of Global Management, a division of Arizona State University, the program inauguration took place at Thunderbird College's prestigious headquarters in Washington, D.C.

This latest phase of the program, a cornerstone in the evolution of governance practices, has welcomed 26 distinguished participants representing 12 key entities within the state administrative framework.

Dr. Sherifa Sherif, the Executive Director of NIGSD, underscored the program's pivotal role in honing the competencies and skills of prominent leaders within the state's administrative echelon, particularly in the realm of e-governance. The program's objectives include optimizing technological applications in governance, fostering transparency, and fortifying accountability mechanisms within the Egyptian governmental sphere.

Dr. Sherif elucidated that the training curriculum encompasses a diverse array of topics, including adaptive governance methodologies, digitalization strategies, administrative empowerment tactics, and the cultivation of sustainable economic paradigms. Moreover, the program delves into fostering competitiveness and facilitating synergistic partnerships between the public and private sectors. Notably, it explores the challenges and opportunities inherent in the digital age, accentuating a practical and applied approach through immersive field visits to leading institutions across the United States.

The six-day intensive training regimen encompasses a comprehensive array of instructional courses and interactive workshops, meticulously designed to foster practical skill acquisition and experiential learning.
