Planning Ministry Launches Strategic Management Training Program in Collaboration with General Authority for Industrial Development

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has announced the commencement of the training program “Capacity Building in Strategic Management” in collaboration with the General Authority for Industrial Development. The program targets 30 trainees from the management and administrative staff of the authority.
H.E.Dr. Hala El-Said, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, emphasized that the training program is part of the protocol signed between the ministry and the authority to enhance capabilities in the field of strategic management. This aims to contribute to achieving the authority’s strategic goals and aligning them with the state’s strategic plans towards sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030. She highlighted that the Central Administration for Strategic Management at the Ministry of Planning aims to provide technical support and enhance capabilities for similar units in the state administrative apparatus through offering training programs and interactive sessions in the field of strategic management.
The training program focuses on preparing for strategic planning, reviewing and defining the vision, mission, and institutional values, analyzing the current situation and strategic focus areas. Additionally, it covers building strategic objectives and performance indicators, specifying and detailing programs, and creating coherence and alignment between sub-units and strategic objectives. The program covers four main axes: strategic planning and policies, monitoring and evaluation, project management, and programs and performance and risk management.
