The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, represented by the Rowad 2030 project, launched a sign language edition of its "Million Rowad" (One Million Entrepreneurs) campaign.
This campaign aims to qualify one million young entrepreneurs of all categories by 2030.
Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Hala El-Said confirmed that the government pays great attention to the rights of people with special needs, as partners in the homeland who have rights and duties.
The campaign aims to prepare them for the labour market by providing trainers at the highest level, and entrepreneurship training programs on the Million Rowad platform.
Each trainee will receive a certificate of completion of the training course at the end of the program.
El-Said explained that the focus on entrepreneurship among young people has become one of the top priorities as a driver of economic growth.
She noted that there is a close link between education and economic growth, as education contributes to building the capabilities of labour and developing their scientific knowledge.
This, in turn, will carry a positive impact on business and society, which contributes to the formation of the basic base for innovation and creativity, pointing to the keenness of developed countries to integrate entrepreneurship into national educational strategies and initiatives.
Ghada Khalil, Director of the Rowad 2030 Project, said that the idea of launching the Million Rowad in sign language came due to the desire to integrate youth with special needs in the development process that Egypt is currently witnessing.
The campaign, which targets Egyptian youth of all ages and groups, provides a complete online training program, with the provision of trainers at the highest level, and entrepreneurship training programs in both Arabic and English.
The training program is divided into three phases; The first phase includes getting to know the business model of startups, testing the startup idea, financial management for startups, business development for startups, building the brand for startups, effective leadership skills for entrepreneurs, investment readiness of the startup, and from idea to project in 30 days.
