NIGSD Launches 'Integration of People of Determination' Initiative in Collaboration with GIZ

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) has initiated the first phase of the "Together for the Integration of People of Determination" initiative in partnership with GIZ.
The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the training division of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, has commenced the activities of the first phase of the "Together for the Integration of People of Determination" initiative, in collaboration with the Electronic Governance and Innovation Support Project in the Public Administration of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The event was attended by 26 trainees from various entities and ministries within the state administrative apparatus.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif, the Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, highlighted that the objective of the initiative is to integrate people of determination into the sustainable development process. Sherif emphasized that supporting and empowering people of determination is one of the primary goals of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, as part of its research and training activities aimed at enhancing Egypt's status and upgrading national cadres in alignment with Egypt's Vision 2030.
Dr. Sherifa Sherif further elucidated that the issue of people of determination holds significant importance in the developmental orientation of the Egyptian state. This category ranks at the forefront of the determinants of programs and development plans in Egypt, indicating that people of determination constitute a significant segment of Egyptian society. She affirmed that the state views this category as a vital part of the workforce and an important component of the human wealth enjoyed by society. The state seeks to maximize the benefit from them within the broader framework of investing in human resources.
