H.E.Dr. Hala El Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, chaired a meeting to review the executive plans of the National Project for Egyptian Family Development. Present at the meeting were Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council for Women, Dr. Amira Tawadros, Director of the Demographic Center, Dr. Jameel Helmy, Assistant Minister for Sustainable Development Plan Monitoring Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Zakaria, Minister's Advisor for Public Policies and Structural Reforms.


During the meeting, Dr. Khaled Zakaria provided an update on the progress made across various facets of the project, including economic empowerment, awareness campaigns, digital transformation, and collaboration with partner ministries and entities. Plans for the upcoming fiscal year were also discussed.


Dr. Amira Tawadros introduced the Egyptian Family Development Project platform, which will serve as a comprehensive database for women benefiting from project services nationwide.


Dr. Jameel Helmy outlined the projects slated for focus in the new fiscal year, aligning with the project's objectives and initiatives to integrate various developmental efforts at the governorate level.


Dr. Maya Morsi highlighted the significant contributions of the National Council for Women within the family development project framework.


In conclusion, Dr. Hala El Said commended the progress achieved, particularly by the National Council for Women, stressing the importance of coordination among all project partners, notably with the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and other entities.


El Said directed the preparation of a comprehensive service concept for beneficiaries of the Family Development Project, emphasizing collaboration with banks, insurance companies, and the Egyptian Post.


El Said emphasized the project's developmental approach to addressing population issues aimed at improving population characteristics and enhancing quality of life.


Attendees included Kamal Nasr, Assistant Minister of Planning for Technical Office Affairs, Dr. Randa Faris, Advisor to the Minister of Solidarity for Health and Family Development Affairs and Director of Mawada Project, Ingy Al-Yamani, Coordinator of the National Project for Egyptian Family Development at the National Council for Women, Dr. Mohamed El-Okaby, Media Advisor to the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Amr Sleiman, Actuarial Expert in the Egyptian Family Development Project, Dr. Mohamed El Maghraby, Supervisor of the Human and Social Development Sector at the Ministry of Planning, and Dr. Sherine Beshry, Economic Empowerment Coordinator in the Egyptian Family Development Project.
