Egypt Government Excellence Award Committee Judges Internal Awards at Assiut University

The Egypt Government Excellence Award held a meeting for the internal excellence awards judging committee at Assiut University in its second edition - via video conference - with the presence of Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, the Academic President of Hertfordshire University in Britain, Dr. Mona Hegrs, the Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, Director of Educational Institutions Awards, and Dr. Abdel Hakim Radwan, Evaluation and Quality Consultant.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that launching the internal awards system aims to develop human capabilities and make a qualitative leap in institutional performance, and to qualify entities to participate in the national award "Egypt Government Excellence Award". The internal awards system also works to create effective and constructive positive competition and to instill the principles and values of excellence in all sectors of the state.
Thirteen faculties at Assiut University applied for the internal awards in the "Governmental Colleges" category, and 11 teams for the "Best Team" category qualified for the field visit stage, including 5 colleges and one team, in preparation for the top three to compete in the Egypt Government Excellence Award in its fourth edition in 2024. Twelve internal assessors, a team leader, and two quality officers were also involved.
The meeting was attended by Esraa Hosny, Director of Specialized Awards at the Egypt Government Excellence Award, Osama El Sayed, Assistant University Secretary, and Mohamed Abbas Dardir, Director of Evaluation at the university's internal award.
