Egypt Excellence Award ,Egyptian Post Convene to Monitor Adjudication of Internal Excellence Awards

The Egypt Excellence Award for Governmental Excellence held a meeting of the adjudication committee for the internal excellence awards at the Egyptian Post, focusing on categories such as "Post Offices," "Distribution Areas," and "Postal Regions" nationwide. The aim was to oversee the final adjudication process of the internal awards by the Post Authority in its second edition, 2023. Chaired by Ambassador Hisham Badr, Assistant Minister of Planning for Strategic Partnerships, Excellence, Initiatives, and General Supervisor of the Award, the meeting was attended by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Post, Mohammed Ibrahim, Permanent Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Engineer Khaled Mustafa, Advisor and Expert in Strategies and Governance, Dr. Wael Zakaria, Advisor for Institutional Excellence and Digital Transformation, and the executive leadership of the Egyptian Post.
Ambassador Hisham Badr commended the significant progress of the Egyptian Post under the esteemed leadership, positioning it as one of the leading platforms for citizen service delivery. He extended congratulations to the Head of the Authority on the inauguration of the new post headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, distinguished by its innovative design incorporating the latest technological advancements.
Badr underscored the significance of activating internal excellence awards in government institutions to ensure sustainability and foster institutional performance enhancements, thereby elevating the quality of services provided to citizens. He emphasized that excellence is a continual journey, not merely a destination.
Mohammed Ibrahim, the Permanent Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development, reiterated the Ministry's commitment to supporting the culture of excellence, lauding the constructive partnership with the Post Authority in enhancing service quality.
Engineer Khaled Mustafa emphasized the pivotal role of the Egyptian Post in driving digital transformation within the government, aligned with Egypt Vision 2030 and sustainable development strategies.
During the adjudication proceedings, Dr. Ahmed Sadek, Director of Governmental Services Awards, outlined the evaluation criteria and stages of the internal awards project. Notably, 662 post offices, 35 postal areas, and 61 distribution centers participated, with 10 post offices vying for top positions in the upcoming 2024 edition of the Egypt Excellence Award for Governmental Excellence.
