The Minister of Planning and Economic Development and the Governor of the New Valley Inaugurate the First Phase of the Population Attraction Project "Bashayer Al-Wady"

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. Hala El-Said arrived at the New Valley governorate, to inaugurate and inspect a number of development projects, where she received by General Mohamed Al-Zamlout, Governor of the New Valley, and was accompanied the visit by Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, Yahya Abu Al-Fattouh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Egypt, Dr. Hiba Mghoub, Supervisor of the Ministry's Regional Planning Sector, Dr. Mohamed Alokabi, Media Adviser to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.

The Minister stressed that the project aims to settle families from all governorates of the Republic within the framework of the State's population attraction plan for the development of the governorate Stressing that the first phase of the project includes 225 fully serviced homes that were implemented in cooperation with Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt. She also stressed that providing all aspects of a decent life for the residents, including a school, a place for worship, an ambulance station, commercial shops, a bakery, and sports fields was taken into consideration.

On the other hand, the governor explained that the second phase of the project, which includes 150 homes, is underway, expressing his appreciation for the permanent support of the Ministry and national banks to complete the different stages of the project and overcome any obstacles to implementation.

El-Said and Al-Zamlout inspected the residential units delivered to the beneficiaries of the project and the services provided to the people and handed over several contracts to beneficiaries from various governorates of the Republic.
