The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development Concludes the Training of the "Excellence in Governance and Sustainability in the Digital Age" Program’s 6th Class at the United Arab Emirates’ Mohammed bin Rashid College

The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, concluded the training of the sixth class of the "Excellence in Governance and Sustainability in the Digital Age" program, carried out in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government Administration in the UAE, for 30 leaders representing 12 state administrative bodies.
The Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development Dr. Sharifa Sharif said that the training program is part of the implementation of the objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030, a key point in Egypt's overall development and reforms in various fields.
Sharif explained that the program is implemented in light of the outstanding bilateral relations and cooperation between the Governments of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, stressing that the main objective is to work towards the formation of an efficient and effective governing body that contributes in turn to development and responds to citizens’ needs.
The Executive Director of NIGSD noted that the program is offered as a grant from the institute to enhance the value, and enhance the participants' capacities for 5 training days, the implementation period of the program, in order to enable them to lead institutions in line with the strategic priorities of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as familiarize participants with global trends in governance and sustainability.
It is important to note that five consecutive sessions of the same program were held during 2022 and 2023.
