El Said added that "Services Egypt" centers offer over 109 diverse government services, including proxy services, documentation services, official document translation, issuance of certified certificates, and the issuance and renewal of national IDs and family registration. Additionally, services include issuing criminal status reports in Arabic and English, traffic services, civil status and passports, documentation and real estate services, public prosecution services, commercial registry services, social insurance, and social solidarity services. Minister of Local Development, General Hesham Amna, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in supporting the Ministry of Local Development and governorates to continuously improve citizens' access to government services. He emphasized that these efforts are fundamental to governmental excellence and support the state administrative apparatus's competitiveness, especially with incentives for attracting investment, business development, and creating a conducive environment for private and national and foreign investments.
Minister Hesham Amna highlighted that this center will contribute to developing and providing government services at the highest quality level, facilitating citizens' access and saving time and effort by obtaining services from one location instead of navigating various service providers in different places.
Governor Mohamed El Sherif stated that the center aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to expand the establishment of "Services Egypt" centers across governorates, aiming to enhance and streamline government services for citizens. Alexandria governorate allocated an entire floor in the administrative building adjacent to the Alexandria governorate headquarters to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development to establish the "Services Egypt" center. The governorate also allocated a vacant space in front of the center for landscaping to enhance its urban appearance.
The center provides various government services, including real estate, civil status, criminal records, and traffic services. Ibrahim Serhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "E Finance" Investment and Digital Group, mentioned that the group is committed to continuously enhancing its subsidiaries' capabilities, adding more technologies and integrated infrastructure to serve digital transformation in various government and private institutions. The "Services Egypt" project represents the largest gathering of digital government services provided to citizens and investors from one place. In 2023 alone, the project processed over 50,000 transactions, offering a total of 109 services, with an average service delivery time reduced to 7 minutes, reaching approximately 3 million users through various social media platforms to introduce the services provided in "Services Egypt" fixed and mobile centers.
The group emphasized its commitment to leverage its experiences and capabilities to participate in deploying more "Services Egypt" technological centers, particularly after the significant success achieved in Aswan and South Sinai. This success encourages and motivates all parties to expedite the launch and opening of more technological service centers across Egypt.
