Minister of Planning and Economic Development Pledges Support for Global Math Prodigy, Mark Nader

H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, warmly welcomed the Nader family, celebrating the exceptional achievement of their child, Mark Nader. Mark secured the top global position in mathematical sciences and problem-solving at the USMAS Foundation event held in Malaysia.

During the meeting, Dr. El-Said reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering commitment to nurturing talents and investing in human capabilities, recognizing them as the nation's true wealth. She emphasized the importance of providing care and support for children with exceptional abilities, highlighting the remarkable global accomplishments of Mark and his siblings at a young age.

The Minister commended Mark's mother for her commendable commitment to her children's development, particularly considering her husband's overseas work. Dr. El-Said also praised Mark's father for actively encouraging his son's participation in international competitions.

In response to Mark's achievements, Minister El-Said has directed The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) to extend support to Mark, allocating all necessary resources to amplify his mathematical prowess. The Ministry is actively seeking a fitting scholarship through the USMAS Foundation to nurture Mark's potential. As a gesture of encouragement, a computer has been presented to Mark to aid in his preparations for the upcoming competition in India, ensuring his continued excellence on the global stage.
