The Egypt Government Excellence Award has released a comprehensive report outlining its activities and key highlights throughout 2023.
H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, emphasizes the award's role in fostering a competitive spirit and excellence among government employees and institutions. Recognizing outstanding contributions to public service, the award aims to inspire dedication, elevate performance standards, and align with the goals of Egypt Vision 2030, particularly in 'State Institutions Governance and Partnership.'
Ambassador Hisham Badr, Assistant Minister of Planning for Strategic Partnerships and General Supervisor of the Award, highlights the award's commitment to nurturing innovation and excellence within administrative staff. By fostering healthy competition, the award seeks to enhance service quality for citizens and boost the country's overall competitiveness.
In the first quarter of 2023, winners of the third edition of the Egypt Government Excellence Award 2022 were announced, with 60 recipients honored under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Internal excellence awards were launched across government entities, promoting human development and enhancing institutional performance through workshops and training programs.
The report underscores the award's focus on awareness and capacity-building for institutional excellence standards. Workshops like 'Emotional Intelligence Leadership' and 'Equal Opportunities, Women Empowerment, and Strategic Planning' were conducted, involving key entities, ministries, governorates, and universities.
During 2023, the award forged strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with the General Authority for Industrial Development, aimed at enhancing capacity, strategic management, and government excellence. Participation in conferences and events, such as the World Government Summit and ExpoTech International Annual Exhibition, showcased Egypt's achievements on the global stage.
Furthermore, the report highlights significant achievements in 2023, including the signing of memoranda of understanding and partnerships.
