NIGSD Collaborates with Mizzou for 'Women's Leadership Development' Program in Asyut

In a collaborative effort between the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD)and the University of Missouri (Mizzou), the "Women's Leadership Development" program was successfully implemented in Asyut Governorate on January 13, 2024.
Dr. Sherifa Sharif, the Executive Director of NIGSD, underscored the program's alignment with the International Business Driving License (IBDL), focusing on enhancing capabilities and cultivating managerial and leadership skills for women. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of the pivotal roles women play in governance, sustainable development, and innovation within government sectors.
Women leaders from diverse entities and ministries in Asyut, including the cultural center of Upper Egypt, the General Diwan of Asyut Governorate, the Administrative Prosecution Authority, the Irrigation Department, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Supply, actively participated in the program. Employing an interactive training approach, the initiative concentrated on fundamental and administrative topics, encouraging the exchange of experiences and knowledge among participants to empower and refine their abilities in addressing contemporary challenges within government work.
