25 December 2023
In a pivotal move towards advancing governance and justice accessibility, Dr. Hala El Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, has formalized a strategic collaboration with Counselor Mohamed Shoukry, the Attorney General. This collaboration is marked by the signing of a protocol aimed at establishing 20 mobile centers dedicated to enhancing public prosecution services across Egypt.
This groundbreaking initiative is a testament to the Ministry's unwavering commitment to elevating government services through synergistic efforts across various state sectors. The mobile centers are strategically positioned in multiple governorates, with the overarching goal of bolstering the operational efficiency of public prosecution offices.
Dr. Hala El Said emphasized that the protocol guarantees the deployment of additional mobile technological centers, numbering between 15 and 20 for the fiscal year 2023-2024. Furthermore, plans are underway to introduce 15 new centers in the coming months. These centers will extend their services to fixed locations in Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh, and Aswan, significantly augmenting the operational capacity of public prosecution offices.
The Ministry underscores the critical role of these mobile technological centers in providing essential services to citizens at a reduced cost and with heightened quality. The protocol encompasses a spectrum of services, including data entry, operational capacity enhancement for public prosecution offices, automation program development, and the facilitation of digital transformation.
To date, the Ministry has delivered a total of 251 mobile service centers to various entities, with an additional 25 centers in the final stages of preparation. Moreover, 198 mobile technological centers have been successfully handed over to 11 entities. Complementing these efforts, 53 mobile service centers have been deployed to offer vital services in civil status, real estate, documentation, social solidarity, and social insurance.
This collaborative endeavor marks a significant stride towards a more inclusive and accessible justice system, aligning with the Ministry's vision for comprehensive service development and advancement.
